Point Based Model

See functional part: fp_represent_point_based_model

Points within the terrain area with known x, y and z coordinates relative to a datum point. These may be derived either from survey data, a map source or other source.
Breaklines that connect points and that establish discontinuities in the terrain.
For each point, the identity of the connected points to enable terrain break lines to be established. There are three scenarios:

  • no break lines are provided (full triangulation at the receiving end)
  • only the most significant break lines are provided (where there are significant terrain changes, like trenches, etc.)
  • all break lines, the terrain model contains the triangulation already

The value of the representation identifier for the point model should be set to 'SurveyPoints'
The value of the representation type for the point model should be set 'GeometricSet'
