Cost Schedule

Information below is provided by the role Cost Modelling through the functional part fp_model_cost_schedule

Costs and quantities may be collected together into cost items and ultimately into a cost schedule for further work.
The cost schedule brings together all of the cost items into single schedule which is then assigned to the 'head' object within a model for cost modelling/planning purposes. For general purposes, it is assumed that the head object will be the single instance of a project within an exchange.
Local extensions to the exchange requirement may vary this assumption.

Cost items that are included within the cost schedule may be classified. Classification may be given either directly as a notation or as a reference. Classifications are applied either by the role Building Design or the role Cost Modelling through the functional part fp_associates_classification

Identify and collect all required cost items. Ensure that there is a collection cost item that adds all cost values (the resulting cost value being assigned separately)
Assert a unique identifier for the cost schedule
Set the current status of the cost schedule Status values are not predefined. It is recommended that agreements are defined for locally extended exchange requirements for this purpose.
Identify the type of cost schedule from the predefined list made available. An 'Order of Magnitude' cost may be considered to be a type of 'Budget' and this value may be set accordingly. Alternatively, a user defined value may be specified. Note that an extended list of cost schedule types may be established for locally extended exchange requirements.
Identify the actor that prepared the cost schedule
Identify the actor that submitted the cost schedule
Identify the actors that are the intended users of the cost schedule
Identify the date on which the cost value was prepared.
Identify the date on which the cost value was submitted.
If the cost schedule has been previously submitted and the present schedule represents an update, identify the update date.
