Building Storey (Area Quantities)

Information below is provided by the role Building Design or the role Cost Modelling through the functional part fp_define_quantity (area)

In addition to the building storey quantities asserted by the building model, the following area quantities should be given for the building to enable cost modelling.

Information Needed	MAN	REC	OPT
The expected gross planned area of each building storey. The name of the element quantity should be set to 'Gross Planned Area of Storey' Gross planned area may be set or it may be derived by a software application from the shape representation
The expected nett planned area of the building storey. The name of the element quantity should be set to 'Nett Planned Area of Storey' This should be the total usable space of the building according to local method of measurement rule. Nett planned area may be set or it may be derived by a software application.
