4 - Space Boundary - Exchange Energy Analysis Model - Zones (ER)

Space boundaries relating building elements to spaces should be defined.

Space to which the boundary relates.
Building element to which the boundary is related.
The connection geometry of the space boundary. Connection geometry should be asserted. For relationships between spaces and walls/slabs and other elements presenting a planar surface to the space, then surface geometry should be used.
Indication of whether the space boundary is physical (real) or virtual.
Indication of whether the space to which the boundary relates is inside or outside the building. Generally, it is considered that spaces that are defined as being outside the building will not participate in energy analysis.
