Construction

In this section all construction realted information needed to satisfy the Exchange Energy Analysis Model (Zones) will be described.

Type

Where building elements have not been designated as being of a particular construction type, this must be done. It is assumed that construction type data is available within a construction type data library and that this will be applied in defining the types of building elements. Creation of the construction type library for a project is out of scope for this exchange requirement.

Layers

For layered constructions, details of the individual layers within the construction must be provided. If this has not already been provided within the building model, then it must be provided within the energy analysis process.
