Model	The terrain for a site is defined. The approximation between the survey points is either resolved by the triangulation process on the receiving side, or already taken over from the source. Terrain information is used for: Informing building design considerations Establishing cut and fill information requirements Defining the surface level for subsurface located elements (e.g. pipes and cables below ground)
